Digiplay History
Digiplay Studios was originally started on the 19th of November 2006.
Since then digiplay has become a huge PSP Development. With over 30,000
users world wide Digiplay has become something we never thought it would.
Digiplay 1.0 was first released in December although was never really a
succes until the release of digiplay 3.27.

As you can see digiplay 1.0 was a very poor portal. Digiplay 1.0 was made
using MS Paint and very poor basic HTML Scripting. Digiplay 1.0 BETA really
wasn't up to much so we decided to re-think our plans. When I say we I mean
me and a friend from school called Austin. We really wanted to improve the
portal and get it to be perfect. We worked loads on digiplay 2.0 and
although it wasn't much better it's fair to say that there was a definate
improvement. So after the release of digiplay 2.0 we looked at all the
suggestions on the forums and took them into account alot more for the
next version.

So that's digiplay 2.0, rubbish! So we started work on Digiplay 3.0.
Up until now versions of digiplay were made in about 2 weeks but this
version was the one that took longer to make. I guess you could say we
are still building off this version now! Digiplay 3.0 was a huge improvment
ans started to look like an actual PSP Portal. At the time we had about
200 downloads and I can remember thinking wow!

So as digiplay 3.0 was released and got a fare few downloads we
decided to build off that version for digiplay 3.27! Digiplay 3.27
Was tweeked with improved graphics, features and games. Digiplay
3.27 had added features including extras.

It was at this point that Austin left digiplay so it ended up just
being me on my own for a while. I was determined not to give up and
at this point it was posted for the first time on QJ! So I had over
3,000 Downloads! Now I was doing well. With all this success I
continued to make digiplay portals. I went onto making digiplay
3.79! I loved digiplay 3.79 and I would probabally say that out of
all the digiplay releases 3.79 was probabally my favourite to
release. There was somthing about it which has stuck with me forever!

So Digiplay 3.79 came and went. We got to work straight away on
a new digiplay version mostly because digiplay 3.79 had a fare
few bugs that needed to be fixed. Digiplay 4.03 was the version
we decided to release! We released 2 versions of digiplay 4.03.
About 2 weeks after the first version of 4.03 we realised that
there where quite a few major error codes. So we released 4.03
B Edition!

At this point I really thought digiplay was finished. Not because
the release of digiplay 4.03 B-Edition was unsuccessful but because
I was just getting to a point where making digiplay portals was
becoming a chore. I had no one to work with and nothing to push
me. The only thing stopping me from writing a 'CLOSED' sign on
my site was the thought that if I take a brake it may one day
appeal to me again. So I left my options open but wasn't planning
on a release any time soon. I waited for somthing to push me
into it but nothing did. I think the main reason for slowing
was the lack of time I had for building portals. Eventually
I restarted and this time I came back better then ever! New
digiplay team members, new ideas & new graphics software. I
was now ready to give digiplay my all again! So I did and within
2 months I released digiplay 4.65. This was the biggest release
I had ever done for digiplay Studios and there where so many
reasons for it. I had a team who where willing to give it there all!

And that brings us onto our latest release for now, Digiplay 5.0.
Digiplay 5.0 has some great new features and looks, the best of
digiplay...For now! Thanks for supporting us guys,
